However, Workstation can offer much more. A single Workstation connected with a LAN or Internet connection can be used to create and edit any number of projects in any video output format. Each project can use unique, similar or identical page layout, content and schedules.
Thus Workstation is be used to design or modify content for your Digital Signage Network. Or it can be used to sell Digital Signage projects to other companies using Player Networks that require work to be out-sourced.
When creating and editing projects, use Workstations video output channel as a preview before distribution. It can also be used as a live display at any time.
Workstation systems can be installed for use with either Composite S-Video, Progressive VGA or SDI (Serial Digital Interface) environments. However, Workstation systems can create content for groups of Players systems in any video format.

Content Manager software is one of the primary components in the comprehensive Digital Signage System. Content Manager's web-based server software provides central management of signage devices as media players, and automates the design and distribution of a wide variety of multi-media file formats into playlists. Playlists are then set into schedules and stored in a central database for distribution to the network of signage displays. With WebDT Content Manager, the message to be played is assembled, scheduled, and delivered for dynamic playback over a network of appliances using standard file formats and protocols.
